What is the Body Love Project?
This is a movement. The Body Love Project is a celebration of you, yourself, and nobody else. We want to show that it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, we want to spread the message that you yourself are a gem who deserves to feel empowered.
Here at Graciela Valdes Fine Art Photography we believe that everyone should be confident about their bodies and be able to embrace their imperfections. That’s why we created the Body Love Project and are looking for 15 people that are willing to share their stories, struggles and spread the love of body positivity.
Who can be a part of the Body Love Project?
Anyone can be a part of this!
It doesn’t matter whether you’re single, married, gay, straight, or not - this project is for everyone. We want to give you the chance to be able to experience one of a kind transformative boudoir session and tell your body love story and spread the message of body positivity. This is totally for you, who loves life and knows you're worth it. You, who wants to rock it out, even if you have to talk yourself into it a little.

OOOMMGGG you have soooo many questions! LOL I totally get it. Let’s see if we can’t get some of these boudoir frequently asked questions answered!
Where do I start?!
Easy! Start with a simple chat with me! Let’s dish and talk about how you want to feel. I’m an expert. I can answer all your questions and create a custom experience just for you. Yes, really. (305)310-8882. That’s my cell. Talk about easy. You’re halfway there!
What do I wear?
Rule #1 - Dress in what makes YOU feel good! Some people love going to Victoria’s Secret and buying all new lingerie and some people dig into the back of their closets and find their oldest, coziest t-shirt. I find most people do a combination of both. At the end of the day, its about what feels good.
- I’M NOT COMFORTABLE IN LINGERIE - DO I HAVE TO GET NAKED?
You may be saying to yourself that you don’t feel “conventionally sexy” meaning that you don’t identify with things like pearls, lace and lingerie. That’s the beauty of this process. You get to explore your own personality, sensuality and sexuality and identify what brings you joy.
The possibilities are literally endless and the message here is that there is no wrong way to be yourself. That’s the point of all of this - just Be. Your. Damn. Self.

- I’M NERVOUS!
Of course you are! That’s a good thing! Just follow all the steps, do the homework and have fun. I promise you’re gonna love this experience!
- I DON’T KNOW HOW TO POSE?
You probably don’t know how to change the oil in the car either, right? You leave it to the pros. So, just leave this to me. Any color. Any shape. Any size. Any whatever-hang-up-is-eating-you-up-right-now. I got this.
- I JUST NEED TO LOSE ANOTHER 10 LBS....
You and every other person I know! Listen, I can do more for you with lighting and posing than you can do with starving yourself. Don’t wait for “when” this or that. Just do it. Love the skin you're in!
- WOULD A BOUDOIR SHOOT MAKE A GOOD GIFT FOR MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER?
Uuuuhhh... HELL YES! Can you imagine the look on your partner’s face when they open the album?! OMG. Phenomenal.
- HOW MANY OUTFITS DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH?
As many as you can cram into our 4 hour session. Most people end up with 3-5 looks.
+ How many images do I get?
As many as you like! Whether you choose an album or the digital collection, you get as many as you like. I don’t charge by the image.
+ What do your packages include? How much should I expect to spend?
I have some gorgeous packages with albums and wall art that are my faaaaavorites! I also have an a la carte menu as well. Most clients spend in the area of $2500, but there are no minimums. You are welcome to create the package that works for you. The most important thing to me is that you have an amazing experience that you remember forever. We’ll go over everything in detail at your Image Reveal & Ordering Session.
+ What happens at the Image Reveal & Ordering Session?
About a week after your session, we will have the Image Reveal & Ordering Session. where we will pour over your images, select your favorites, and decide exactly what you want to do with them. Whether its a few prints, or a piece of wall art, or one of the Premium Collections, we will make those decisions at this appointment and then lock in your order with a down payment or payment in full. The design work begins processing once your order has been paid in full.
+ What days of the week do you shoot?
We shoot during the week. Weekends available at a $250 premium.
+ Do you shoot Men? Women? Couples? LGBTQA?
Yes, yes and yeeessssss! I’m a lover, not a fighter. I stand firm in my belief that this boudoir experience is for Every. Person. and Every. Body. Whoever you are, however you identify, its just perfect for this experience.

Your privacy is a top priority for me. I won’t even confirm or deny that you are a client unless you want me to! And as much as I’d love to share your beautiful images with the world, I would never do so without your express permission.
